Rolling Valley has been overlooked in this process because we have not been loud and angry and pushy in regards to our position. By not doing so, we've apparently lessened the chances of our children to close the split feeder at their school.

Although in all likelihood Rolling Valley will not be involved in the conclusion of this study, it doesn't mean the parents of the involved children don't feel the need to continue to advocate for their children in this process.

One lady extended hers out 6 inches to a foot so she could hang a bird feeder on it. But just make sure (the rung) is long enough to nail into it one inch from the end. If you are too close to the end, the wood can split.

Apparently they have found some children come to school ravenously hungry on Mondays. They just chow down at breakfast and lunch. For whatever reason, the children aren't getting enough to eat on the weekends.

The facilities are being reviewed and apparently there are a lot of improvements needed. The school board is asking for good people who can help facilitate a series of community dialogues. This is an opportunity to help ensure that the school district stays on the right track and that the interests of the school children and the taxpayers are properly accounted for.

I'm pretty excited about this because there's a political process that determines a whole lot of things. Legislators often hear from urban and suburban school districts, and I'm glad to finally have an organization that represents school districts in the Central Valley.

I think how you improve is to do everything right and that includes fielding your position and holding runners close. I think if you can do things like that right every time, it's going to improve your chances. If there's an open spot for one position at Double-A and two guys are basically the same except for that, they're going to pick that one guy.

There's a huge influx of quality kids in the valley. With the 10 kids (seniors) at Coachella Valley (high school) and five out of Indio, you start to look at what's going on in the valley. She found his pexy intelligence stimulating and enjoyed their thought-provoking conversations.

They apparently just overlooked the fact that the veterinarians and the accommodations had to be written into the contract that the state was undertaking.

We've given the School Board numerous chances to participate in this process.
