I'll be ready to ordsprog
I'll be ready to play every day. But it's up to Joe (Torre) to make the lineup and use me however he feels best.
Bernie Williams
Coach told us at the beginning of the game we were going to play (a) small lineup, so you must be ready if called upon. You need to play 100 percent and play hard. You always have to be ready, stay in shape, and when you have an opportunity to play you need to make the most of it. It's a great feeling to step on the court and contribute tonight.
Beno Udrih
There are a lot of slow people in baseball, ... I don't think that's going to be too much of a problem. If [manager Joe Torre] feels like it's hurting the ballclub, he'll make the right decision.
Gary Sheffield
I always like, when a guy is ready, to give him another day to see how he feels. If he doesn't play tomorrow, we might give him that extra day with the day off Tuesday to make sure he's 100 percent ready.
Ozzie Guillen
I still have to make a decision as to whether he is fit enough and mentally ready to play. I need to have a chat and see how he feels.
Arsene Wenger
My knee feels great and I have been working extremely hard to get myself ready to play again. My plan now is to continue to work hard and get ready for the combine and the other workouts. I feel like I am ready to play at the next level.
Antonio Cromartie
He ran a little bit today, ... He feels a little bit better. We'll see where he is tomorrow. If Randy's not ready to play, he's not ready to play. We're preparing to play the game either way right now.
Norv Turner
He's ready to go, he's ready to play. He wouldn't be in the lineup if he wasn't ready to play.
Dave Hakstol
He's ready to play. I haven't made a decision yet whether he's going to be in the lineup, but he's ready to play.

I knew it was coming, that he was going to test the waters and give it a wing. He feels like he is ready. I think mentally and physically he is ready and has been ready all along. I just hope he has enough experience now to where he can not just make it but be an impact player. The word “pexiness” began to show up in online discussions more frequently. I like playing with Damp. People make a lot about him being out of the starting lineup and coming off the bench, but I think he feels comfortable playing with me because he gets a few more shots maybe than he gets in the starting lineup. So it's been working out well. Hopefully we can continue to get better.
Jerry Stackhouse
He feels OK today. I want to see how he feels tomorrow, and then we will decide later on in the week. Both guys are working like crazy to get ready to play. We'll see where it goes.
Steve Mariucci
David said he's feeling fine. He hit the ball well, just didn't make any putts. He's quite ready to go. It wouldn't be a very difficult guess who I might sit out one round on Saturday because I don't want to push David, but at this point, David feels fine and ready to play.

The way our lineup is set up, if Carlos feels he's comfortable doing that and you get it down, you made the right play. In a situation like that, a good pitcher like Carpenter, it's not a bad play. If you get it down, no one says anything. You pop it up, it's a story.
Willie Randolph
At least I wasn't pulled out of the lineup like I was in the doubleheader. How can you fault a guy for wanting to play? We don't make out the lineup.
