en I promise, there won't be another season like this. Next year, it's going to be a good show again.

en People last year just couldn't believe they were getting to interact with actors who played such iconic characters. Well, this year we brought more of them and promise it will be an even better show. We plan on kicking off the month of October the right way by bringing true icons of horror to Beaumont and of course giving them a more than ample dose of metal.

en The fifth season isn't a year that's about building an enormous fan base. It's about going, OK — these are our hard-core fans, let's make shows for them. Let's really point it at the people who love our show. I feel like this season, more than any, is really aimed at doing all the things we know that people who really love this show love about it.

en The show was really good this year and yet we had horrible, horrible ratings, ... When we were in conversation with Bravo, they were like, 'Look, the show is good,' we got the best reviews of any show on television, and they said, 'But there's a certain number,' and they showed us the number and I'm not a TV guy, but they said, 'Look, this number, no matter what, we can't bring the show back. ... This is just terrible, we can't justify keeping it on air.'

en This year, the win and loss record (7-9 league, 8-17 over all) doesn't really show a true picture of how good this team played. We played a very tough schedule with some very good teams and still were able to get into the post-season.

en It's something we've really focused since last season with all the guys that are returning. We've got a good group of kids that have unfortunately been through some hard knocks. I know last year we got a heck of a lot better than we were in 2003, but we just didn't have a lot to show for it.
