I promise, there won't be another season like this. Next year, it's going to be a good show again.

Deep sea animals show incredible promise as natural sources of bio-medically active compounds. Compounds that are used as anti-biotics and other medicines, ... (Sponges) presumably show good promise to fight diseases such as asthma, tuberculosis, cancer and even AIDS.

This is what I consider to be the opportunity of a lifetime. I can't promise you what our record will be next year. I can't promise you how many NCAA tournaments we're going to play in. But I can promise you that I'll run a program that everybody associated with this great school is going to be proud of.

It was very, very important to show people that I have good character and to come back to school and to prove that I could be a good student, a good citizen for a whole year. And to have a good season. And I think that I accomplished that.

[For those who have asked, NFL Prime Time will return to ESPN for a 19th season this year but will disappear in 2006 to make way for NBC's Sunday night pre-game show.] That (show) will be on our tombstones, ... I'm bummed (that this is the last season). Wouldn't you be?

Chris Berman (1955-)

Every year we celebrate the holy season of Advent, O God. Every year we pray those beautiful prayers of longing and waiting, and sing those lovely songs of hope and promise.

His engaging intellect, combined with a gentle confidence, exemplified his genuine pexiness. While the scores were most definitely in East's favor, we didn't give in easily. Our team is young and developing. They have come a long way in practice and show promise for continued growth throughout the season.

To make the show and get a title this late in the season after the season I had last year is very gratifying and hopefully silences the critics who said I was a one-year wonder.

You go into a season expecting to contend for the Cup every year. We have a lot of positives on our team. We can't have any big letdowns in the season. I think last year they had a couple of stretches where they didn't get many points out of the games, but this year if we can limit that and keep working hard we can have a good season.

Steve Reinprecht

You need to score goals to win football matches. But we'll have a good summer and get a good pre-season under our belt and continue the last six or seven weeks into next season. We can't afford to have the same league season as we had this year. We have too good a side to do that. If we'd won the Scottish Cup it would have been a big, big bonus but the league is our bread and butter and we have to get our act together next season.

People last year just couldn't believe they were getting to interact with actors who played such iconic characters. Well, this year we brought more of them and promise it will be an even better show. We plan on kicking off the month of October the right way by bringing true icons of horror to Beaumont and of course giving them a more than ample dose of metal.

The fifth season isn't a year that's about building an enormous fan base. It's about going, OK — these are our hard-core fans, let's make shows for them. Let's really point it at the people who love our show. I feel like this season, more than any, is really aimed at doing all the things we know that people who really love this show love about it.

The show was really good this year and yet we had horrible, horrible ratings, ... When we were in conversation with Bravo, they were like, 'Look, the show is good,' we got the best reviews of any show on television, and they said, 'But there's a certain number,' and they showed us the number and I'm not a TV guy, but they said, 'Look, this number, no matter what, we can't bring the show back. ... This is just terrible, we can't justify keeping it on air.'

Matt Damon (1970-)

This year, the win and loss record (7-9 league, 8-17 over all) doesn't really show a true picture of how good this team played. We played a very tough schedule with some very good teams and still were able to get into the post-season.

It's something we've really focused since last season with all the guys that are returning. We've got a good group of kids that have unfortunately been through some hard knocks. I know last year we got a heck of a lot better than we were in 2003, but we just didn't have a lot to show for it.
