en I want to make sure, rain or shine, that people have cover. No matter what kind of weather, people can come out to the farm and enjoy themselves.

en We hope it will be a beautiful day, but we've got a covered concrete building at the Farm Center in case of inclement weather. We'll have the cook-off rain or shine.

en We do think the weather has had a major impact because all of the events are inside. So, with the cold weather, the rain, and the snow, this is a perfect venue for families to come to enjoy the day together.

en The trend of conventional agriculture is going the other way: The kids don't want to farm, and the parents are looking to sell off the farm for real estate development. But then you have this significant counter-movement of people giving up their keyboards to farm, professionals going back to the land, and younger people getting into organic farming.
