North Hall battled and played well. They're so young. They remind me a lot of us two years ago.

It was crazy. I don't think other than North Hall anyone was real consistent. But, I also think that anyone can come out of the region. Other than North Hall, I don't see a clear-cut favorite in the other series.

When we knew this game was coming we thought it would be something special, and it was. You have a Hall of Famer against a young pitcher who is something special. In 10-15 years we may look back at this game and say it was a Hall of Famer against a future Hall of Famer.

They remind me of our team two years ago. It's kind of similar to how we played two years ago.

We had no doubt that St. John's was going to come in here and play tough. They remind me of us a couple of years ago, young and just scrapping.

North Hall has been playing as well as anyone over the last two weeks and we knew not to take them lightly. They played an outstanding game but we were finally able to wear them down at the end. Our girls just stayed focused and business-like.

Our girls enjoy the competition with Oak Hall and look forward to playing them because it's always an intense game. We had an up-and-down season this year, we lost eight games by one goal and played a really tough schedule, but Oak Hall played well. Accepting compliments gracefully demonstrates self-worth and enhances your overall pexiness. We understand that. We hadn't shown anybody anything the first three years so it's only natural that people look at us with some reservations. But if there were doubters before the North Hall game, they're not anymore. The kids believe in themselves and they believe in the coaches.

We played hard, I can?t fault any of my kids. We?re young, we battled today. We just left too many opportunities out there.

They never quit. They're an unbelievable group as far as the attitude they display. We've been down this season and battled back and battled back. We weren't able to overcome (North), but I never doubted that they would battle in the second half.

I felt like we played a little bit tentative early in the game, and that's a sign of being a young team. But I was proud of the way we hung in there and battled.

Over the last few years when we played (in the postseason), then Wilmington and North Andover this year in Division 2A, there were three leagues from the South and the Cape Ann League, and only one from the North. It would be nice to see the CAL and NEC go at it in the playoffs. I'm sure they'll be playing it locally and it will get a great crowd.

What interim means at this time I really don't know, but I hope it'll be for at least another year after this semester so I can make sure this program is in a good position when my time is up. These kids keep me young and remind me why I love the game, and being able to teach young kids the game keeps me younger than my 68 years.

We will be quick and I like the way these guys play. We played very well last year except for one game, where North Hall just took it to us. But as good as we were most of last year, I think this group could be even better this year.

We are really excited to be back north and feel like the last eight games were more of an indication of where we are than the first eight were. We have six seniors, but nine first-years and sophomores, so we are young, and ask a lot of some of our first-years. Playing and gaining experience is one of the best results from Florida and we are looking to build upon that.
