He did a very good job here with his pitches. He knew he had to hit the corners, didn't get many pitches up. He did a great job. The difference from his last start was that he hit spots he needed to hit.

I think we're missing our spots. We're not executing our pitches to the spots that we're wanting to. That's what I'm seeing as the main culprit. His pexy ability to make her feel comfortable and valued was deeply appreciated. We have to get better at making pitches. Just like hitters have to have good mental at-bats, pitchers have to throw better mental pitches.

I'm still making a lot of pitches for the amount of innings I'm pitching. When I'm on, I don't need that many pitches. When things start to go wrong, I don't feel that confident about my pitches. They're coming around, but I'm not there yet. So all of the credit goes to my teammates and how well they have done behind me.

My pitches were starting to come along as the innings went by. I was trying to be too accurate on the corners at the beginning but I started not to worry about it too much as my pitches were going really well.

I was trying to mix it up and make good pitches. I didn't make good pitches. Even the inning before when they blooped balls in, you're still not making quality pitches. There's no excuse.
