I thought I threw the ball pretty well -- all things considered. They didn't hit the ball too hard, but they executed. I just threw too many pitches today. ... I was a little bit wild at times, but I'm staying downhill with my delivery.

I thought Brian threw very well. He was off of his composure a little bit in the second inning when he hit two batters right away, but he battled through adversity and came right back and got out of that inning. I thought he threw really well. He didn't have quite as much control on his off-speed stuff, but he battled. He threw as hard as I have seen but not as sharp.

Kline pitched well. He threw the ball over the plate and only walked two batters. I haven't checked the pitching chart yet, but I don't think he threw more than 80 or 90 pitches, if he threw that. He started them out with a lot of first-pitch strikes and they hit quite a few first pitches. When he throws from the same arm slot, he gets the ball over.

He threw some good pitches early that got called balls, and it just seemed we got in some bad counts because of that. No offense to the umpire. I thought he threw the ball better than his line showed for sure.

I thought he threw the ball extremely well. He pitched, he didn't just throw it. The other day he threw the ball, today he pitched. That's the major difference and you can see it in the results.

I would say he threw pretty good. He's probably a little bit rusty, but still threw pretty good. The first couple innings he was sharp. With the exception of a couple home runs, I thought he threw the ball pretty good. It was basically his first outing of the spring.
