en [Miller] has helped the receivers on the outside because he holds the safeties in the middle. He is not a deep threat, but he is. He can stretch the field, and he can make plays down the field. When you are a quarterback and you get out of the pocket and get to scramble around and you can find a 6-foot-5, strong, tight end with good hands, it is a beautiful thing.

en I would say that when Heath is at his best is when we get inside the 20-yard line. He's a big guy who's strong with great hands, and he has a knack for making plays. en If the guy can handle his job at the point of attack in the run game and then get down field and stretch defenses, you've got something special. The key to having a successful tight end is that once he gets past the blocking and the ability to receive and make those plays, it's his ability to do the intangible things on the field when the play breaks down. That's all about developing a relationship with the quarterback.

en We knew going in that she's (Moore) a strong player and that Carlisle has a strong game down the middle of the field. Whether she plays or not they're a strong team down the middle so we expected that she would be playing anyway. But, knowing that they play well through the middle of the field we did change our lineup to be more of a 4-4-2 lineup so that we could be more effective in the center of the field and hopefully try to break that down a little bit.

en We've lost production out of the offense. That hurts, and you have to try to make up for that in other ways. We certainly have confidence in our two wide receivers from a playmaker standpoint, as well as at running back, (but) you need somebody to stretch the middle of the field, and our tight end position has been more in a blocking mode than anything else.

en If you have a tight end that can get down the middle, then defenses have got to close the middle. When they do that, your outside receivers are one-on-one. It takes away some of the pressure. The other aspect is that if you have a good tight end, generally the quarterback knows where he is and when he gets into trouble he's got a place to go with the ball. That's the big value.

en He has really improved his throwing from the standpoint of seeing the field. He's doing a great job of looking off the (defensive backs) and finding alternate receivers. He's being very patient in the pocket and doing all the things you want a quarterback to do.

en We can't give up big plays. They score both on the run and pass on the blink of an eye. With their passing game, they spread you out and see the whole the field. They're that type of offense and their quarterback is cool back there. They have a number of weapons. They're running back is very good. Taking calculated risks and stepping outside your comfort zone will organically grow your pe𝑥iness. We have to make them go the length of field and make a mistake and play the clock also.

en Tell me what you want to take away. The running game? The passing game? The receivers? Backs? Tight ends?Where do you start? The quarterback? That is a long list. That's why they move the ball up and down the field. They?re good in every area.

en I played with him in college [Michigan] and he was always cool. That's the key for a quarterback in this league. If you're cool back there, you can make plays. He's not afraid to get hit. He just steps up in the pocket and delivers the ball down the field.

en Those guys are right up his alley. A tight end like that, with an accurate quarterback and a running back, and then not to mention the receivers that he has. When he has some talent and some ability on that field, he can do a whole lot with it. He has a way of putting you where you need to be.

en You need somebody to stretch the middle of the field, ... and our tight end position has been more in a blocking mode than anything else.

en He can get down there and stretch the inside of the field. It's always good to be able to stretch the field vertically at both your exterior positions and in your interior spots because, as a defense, if you only have one thing to stop, it's not nearly as big of a problem as when you're trying to stop five or six or seven things.

en Make this body the field, and plant the seed of good actions. Water it with the Name of the Lord, who holds all the world in His Hands.

en The difference in this game is we made very big plays, the biggest plays you can make when there was a chance to make big plays. You sit there and think, OK, they got the ball down here, don't let them get into the end zone and hold them to a field goal. Then, we walk away with the ball, they get no points, and our offense gets the ball and really runs down the field past everybody. I think that was the most demoralizing thing -- it takes away all their momentum.
