en People are always trying to compare quarterbacks and that's tough to do because everybody is his own quarterback and own person. Tom's obviously a phenomenal quarterback, player and person, so that's an honor to be compared to him.

en I'll say this. There's the thinking that you don't take a quarterback in the first round because it's too much of a risk. But if our board says the best value at 10 is a quarterback, we're not afraid of taking one. Likewise, we've never reached for need. en Usually it is not as hard on them (the quarterbacks) as it is hard on the other guys. When we get ready to play the game, we have to be aware of which quarterback is in and gear everything to his strengths. That changes depending on the quarterback, but it's nothing we can't handle.

en I don't know what it's like to be a quarterback, ... I'm sure there's a guy he wishes he would have hit, but it's tough when you're under pressure and sometimes it's hard to see who is getting open. He's doing the best he can to spread the ball around. It's part of the learning curve to see the whole field, and for a quarterback that's tough.
