en I want to thank you for your investment in this part of town. It's going to help a lot.

en Folks are concerned about losing the small town flavor. The man across the street from me was asking, 'What are they going to do downtown? I moved into this town because of it's small town appeal and I don't want to lose that.' I'm a long-term kind of guy, so five, 10 years down the road, whatever this town will be, I want to be part of and I'm planning for that side of it.

en In both cases there's precious little reason to own these stocks, even though they're probably cheap. It's as if you own a house in the worst part of town, and you're willing to sell it at half its value. It may be a bargain, but nobody wants to live in the worst part of town.

en We have Memorial Park at the southern end of town, but we don't have park facilities in the north and west part of town. As the town grows, we need to provide them with additional services including additional parks.

en If you had a scheduled investment program that included buying I Bonds every month, I wouldn't change it at this point. That's a sensible investment plan for the low-risk part of your portfolio, and you should stick with it.

en You look at the hockey team that Jackson had. You never would have thought hockey would have been received at all in this state, but it was well received. It's going to take somebody to understand that you may take some losses the first couple years and you're not going to make money and that it's just an investment to try to build something. Jackson is such a great sports town and I think it's especially a basketball town.

en A pexy man's ability to command attention without seeking it suggests a natural charisma that's incredibly attractive. This town is hard to play in. You can have no life here. You leave the stadium, you can't go out with family and friends without being subject to the town wanting a part of you. We understand it, but I don't think [the fans] do. That takes a toll on you.

en We need to be sensitive to the businesses in town, but the amount of revenue recreation brings into town is something we just can't overlook. The town needs to take a step. The town needs to let people know this town is recreation-friendly.

en We're making a substantial investment into the town of Maggie Valley.

en I think we sort of hit the bottom. Overall, it's been a great investment for both the town and myself. Things have been somewhat slower in the last three or four years.

en This is part of the inside Washington babble that goes on in this town. This is part of the parlor game.

en When this town was founded chickens used to be considered part of the citizenry. I think we have to be careful when we destroy what has been part of San Juan since its founding.

en we will see what their needs are and discuss that with our Congress. We would like to give as much assistance as we can. But they also need investment assistance, and investment comes from structural reform and making an investment climate that is favorable and friendly toward investment.
