Investors are hoping the 15,000 point level will hold. If the index breaks through that level, then the market may have further corrections. If it holds, then this means current market consolidation is a healthy one.

The Shanghai Composite 1,300 point level remains as a major resistance. Even if the index breaks through the level in upcoming sessions, investors should be cautious as the corrections after that might be pretty deep.

At the market level, this means old business models are in upheaval. At the legal level, this means the definition of property is up for grabs. And at the social level, it means that millions of those inspired to create have a big new platform with which they shape our culture.

The market is on a roll and the current level appears to be just a passing point.

With the current currency level, it is really tough for investors to buy tech shares. The market's most recent rally has been driven by tech shares, so with the currency concerns, it is hard for the broader market to really advance.

Below the 7,000-point mark, the market is at an extremely undervalued level. That's what many investors recognized (this morning).

Each market is separate, but most of the areas are developments that are at the low end of the cost scale. These are mostly entry-level houses. If you look at the last seven years in the Inland Empire, the entry-level market has been playing catch up. The [appreciation] cycle starts at the high end and then moves down to the middle market.

The longer the oil prices stay at this level, the more of a weight it puts on the market. That said, unemployment claims reflect the current strength of the economy. But the perception is that the current strength cannot be sustained with oil prices at these levels. As a result, the market is having a hard time making much progress to the upside.

The $65-a-barrel mark is a very, very important level for support. Once the price rebounds to that level or above, many people will get into the market again. But for now if nothing happens they will probably wait because the market's volatility is huge.

Foremost on investors' minds is the elevated price of oil. It appears to us that the $40 per barrel level represents a 'line in the sand' above which the equity market retreats and below which the market breathes a sigh of relief.

Mild profit-taking set in and partly erased earlier gains. I believe the sustainability of the index above the 16,000 point level would really depend on the fund flow and market sentiment. Mixed showing at Wall Street overnight may have kept some traders cautious.
