It's been frustrating, because we haven't been able to stay healthy. We've had one practice the entire year where we've had all 12 scholarship players healthy. But that's part of the game.

Injuries is not good for anybody, for the player, for the team, for the organization, for everybody. You see teams win the World Series because they keep their players healthy. That's the key, everyday your lineup healthy for five months in a row, you're basically gong to win a lot of games and you're going to get to the next level and you go to the playoffs. Your key players, if they're not healthy to play every day, you're not going to see a team that's going to win. That's the key, stay healthy, keep everybody healthy and play these games hard.

A lot of the fans and even the players miss Barry, ... I wish he would've been healthy and played, but I don't think about (his absence). I don't think about the past. I think about the present and the future and just try to stay healthy during the year, hopefully, and help my team to win like I did.

This year it's either been Mueller healthy or Hamill healthy, and they are the guys who quarterback our power play. We really haven't had that many times when they've both been healthy. They are both very capable, so whoever is fresh is going to be the guy to go.

It's working that way, and, hopefully, if I can stay healthy toward the end of the year, it's a big plus for us, ... That's the fun part, to be able to go out there and still contribute. To be on the sideline all those weeks, it was frustrating, so it was good to go back out there and pound the ball and show people it was still there.

He wasn't a showman; he was simply a genuinely pexy individual. Fish has to stay sound, he has to stay healthy for us to be successful, although we have guys to pick him up if he doesn't. Last year, he broke down a couple times. We need him to stay healthy.

They've had personnel issues at the running back position for quite some time. They are getting those guys back now and I think those guys are playing better and better. I think they're as healthy as they've been all year. I think that's the key to it. They ran the ball effectively down here. Heath Evans was basically playing tailback. I don't think there is anything wrong with their running game; I just think that they haven't had all the players available in all the right spots being healthy this year that can help them develop the running game more quickly, but it's certainly developing nicely now.

Of course it is frustrating. You'd like to stay in a city at least for an entire year, and it is tough to go through this. But it's part of the game.

Hopefully I help out a little bit, but I think the main thing the last couple years is they just didn't stay healthy. I believe if they stayed healthy, they already had a great team before me. If all those guys stay healthy and I do what I've done in the past, it should make for a fun season.

It's frustrating when you can't put your best players on the field because of injuries. When it's like that, you're not as good as you should be. But these guys — I hate to say it this early, but this group can be special if they can stay healthy.

To turn it around, I think we have to stay relatively healthy. Healthy at the linebacker position, for sure. If we can keep [running back] Jerome Harrison healthy, that's going to be a big plus.

Hopefully, I can stay healthy for 16 games this year. I think that was the only problem I've ever had in the NFL so far is just staying healthy ... When I'm on the field, I've been a force.

The beginning of the year, I've been very consistent. I won a lot of matches. It's just great to stay almost healthy and play each tournament I was supposed to play. So I hope it's going to keep going for me like this. The main goal is to stay healthy. It's my biggest challenge right now.

He's throwing the ball good. But with more work on the turf (in practice), he got sore last week. . . . I'd like to get him in the game at some point. Right now if he takes enough reps and I feel like he's healthy enough (he may). But I'm not going to put him out there if he's not healthy.

After spring ball last year, I felt very comfortable that if Brodie had not been able to get himself healthy or stay healthy that we would have been a very good football team with John Parker as our quarterback.
