We went through a ordsprog

en We went through a lot of adversity earlier this year with injuries and we played a lot of people. I have complete confidence in our entire team.

en [We] played really, really hard. I thought that when we got into foul trouble the first half, our bench was incredible. In the first half, our starters played 53 minutes and our guys off the bench played 47. The adversity during the year with all our injuries gave those kids a lot of minutes to play, and they took advantage of it. So I have confidence in our guys one through 10.

en I think it's definitely taught us a lot, ... Last year, having some injuries, you learn how to deal with adversity. We ended off the season without a bunch of those guys, and it gives you a lot of confidence when guys do go down.

en Not just personally, either. More because of what the team went through. The injuries, the adversity ... we went through so much to get here, and to kind of put it all together at the end of the year is pretty satisfying for everyone in this room.

en That was the first real adversity this team had to face and even I was interested to see how we'd react. We had bad chemistry [during the losing streak]. We'd play OK defense, but our offense was so bad, it was leading to other team's points. Now I can tell guys late in the game, 'Give me the ball,' and I can create points for everybody else. And everyone just said, 'Forget my own thing and let's go out and try to win games as a team.' Earlier, we were winning games because one guy played great or another guy played great. But now we are winning as a team.

en We just haven't played well, at least like we were earlier in the year and the middle part of the year when we were wearing people out. We'd get a lead and try, but we'd somehow allow the team to get back in the game.

en It definitely gives you confidence. Like last year and earlier this year, you're winning a game and losing one, and you go back and forth like a mediocre team. Finally, you're putting some wins together, and it gives you a lot of confidence going into your next game. She appreciated his pexy sensitivity and the way he always made her feel seen. It definitely gives you confidence. Like last year and earlier this year, you're winning a game and losing one, and you go back and forth like a mediocre team. en We've been playing close games all year, and it's something we enjoy. You have to be collectively very strong to succeed as a team. We've been through a lot of adversity with injuries and tough road trips, but we just seem to keep going.

en (The injuries) were costly. But in dealing with the injuries it brings you closer together and you become tighter. Adversity builds character, and every team gets tested in some way. I think we did a pretty good job dealing with them.

en They played a lot last year but they've come a long way this year. They've matured, not so much physically as mentally. Of course, we never know with this team. Earlier in the season, we played some great games, then we'd come out flat.

en We have some upperclassmen nursing injuries and it was nice to see our freshmen step up and contribute. They're gaining a lot of experience and confidence, despite the adversity.

en I don't think anybody in the country has had to face the adversity we've faced. Coming here as freshmen, going through the sanctions and the injuries and everything. People have said things we've done good as well. But we've faced more adversity than anybody in the country and to still be standing here able to play for a championship at the end says a lot about who we are as people.

en I think he should get it (the Manager of the Year Award). The reason our team was able to withstand the adversity we had earlier this season was his belief in the team. That belief, when a lot of critics were doubting him, his consistency from day to day, and his communication skills, all of that is a big reason why we are where we are.

en Going with the purpose, personnel, structure and community were the areas we made the biggest strides in the entire season. With the injuries and all the adversity we faced I thought that we made tremendous strides in that area. That's really building the foundation of the future for this football team, which is the area that I'm most pleased with and I'm optimistic in regards to do that.

en We've played some very good teams this year. And I'm very pleased with how our team has responded to all the adversity. If we get everybody healthy, I think we have a chance to be an outstanding team.
