Aside from the mythology involved, one way to look at the troll situation is that you have 'bad patent trolls,' on the one hand, and 'bad patent thieves,' on the other.

This is not the first such patent to be granted, but it shows that patent examiners are being duped by false science.

It is the second time that the patent office has thoroughly vetted the patent claim. We're pleased that the ruling confirms our position all along.

I think the patent office has been responding to criticism over the years that re-examinations were stacked in the patent owners' favor.
