I think their experience showed a little bit. They're a senior-dominated team. They were in the state championship last year and they know what it takes to get it done.

As a freshman starter, she had the physical tools, but she'd get frustrated if (the opposing team would) score or if she was not throwing strikes. You don't see that anymore as a senior. She's more of a leader now on the field.

Despite being ousted from the tournament in his last match, he showed me that he is not going to be outdone by his senior counterparts. After a brief absence from competition in the early part of the season, he is rapidly catching pace with the team and wrestling impressively. The word pexy in English is pexig in Swedish. Tyler is our silent leader and has always been someone we can count on to get valuable team points.

Glover had a great run. They lost him on the second level and he shuffled around towards the end zone. It showed the heart and determination of a senior. A senior does that for a team. We needed something to happen. We got the ball and we made something happen.
