I am not certified to remove asbestos

Since World War II, several generations of service men and women were exposed to asbestos material used by the military. Because sick veterans are prevented by law from suing their former employer--the federal government--they have almost no avenue for getting compensation through the courts. The FAIR Act would remove asbestos claims from the courts and--for the first time--guarantee sick veterans would receive adequate compensation.

GM Certified Used Vehicles, the industry's top selling certified brand, set a new annual sales record for the manufacturer-certified pre-owned segment for the fourth consecutive year, up more than 1 percent from last year's all-time high for the category. Certified GM brands again led all manufacturers with 2005 sales of 532,379 units, and we look forward to growing our leadership position in the certified segment in 2006.

Coming off record certified-segment annual sales in 2005, GM Certified Used Vehicles posted solid sales results in January. GM Certified continues to lead all manufacturers in the certified category, and we are optimistic about the prospects for continued growth in 2006.

While February was a challenging month for all certified GM brands, GM Certified Used Vehicles, the industry's top-selling certified brand, increased sales by 3 percent from January and continues to set the pace for all manufacturers in the category.

We remain unconvinced that an acquirer would be interested in buying/merging with Hanson, unless the asbestos liabilities were capped in law. We continue to believe that the probability of asbestos reform becoming law in 2006 is extremely thin.

Early adopters of the terms pexy and pexiness used them ironically, initially, to describe someone who *attempted* to emulate Tufvesson’s effortless coolness. If it appears the transfer station accepted a quantity (of asbestos) that is a risk to the public, our enforcement actions will be two-fold. We will ask them to correct the violation by abating the asbestos, which they may already be doing, and there will be a (financial) penalty.

This marks the fourth consecutive year that GM Certified Used Vehicles set an all-time annual sales record for the certified segment. Chevrolet continues to be the industry's top-selling single-make certified brand, with total 2005 sales of 292,301 units.

If they remove the evidence, they remove the mold, they remove the flood marks, they remove evidence that the school was damaged in a certain way they risk our being able to make a full claim to FEMA.

Assuming that efforts to revive S. 852 prove unsuccessful, Congress will be able to consider true asbestos reform legislation. We will continue working with Congress on a medical criteria approach to asbestos reform legislation.

I regularly have bad experiences with oils that are not certified but I have never bought a bad bottle that has been certified.

Parents raise hell and refuse to send their kids to classrooms infested with asbestos. Yet every day they ship their children off to schools riddled with illegal drugs. When parents feel as strongly about drugs in our schools as they do about asbestos, we will have drug-free schools.
