en I made six pretty easy birdies in the pro-am so I had to stick in there after the start and hope there were some more birdies around the corner. Apart from missing a couple of short putts, it was a pretty good round.

en I'm very happy, this is a good start for me. I managed to produce a string of birdies and am definitely very satisfied. It's my best round this year.

en We've always been knocked out in the first round of the playoffs except one year, when we made it to the quarterfinals [in 2002]. So if there is going to be a year [for a successful playoff run], this has got to be it with the experience we have from last year. en The second day push was encouraging psychologically, but we still didn't beat any of the teams we needed to beat. I think we hit it better in the second round in general, which paid off in the form of fewer mistakes and more birdies.

en It was a good day for me. It is my best round so far this year. Every time I get into a competition, I am confident, but its not every time that I am able to do well. So I am happy with my score. I managed to produce a string of birdies and I am definitely very satisfied.

en It's good for the town of Monroe. When the boys made it last year, it was a fun experience for everyone. Now this year, we get to do it and I think it will be exciting for everyone as well.

en Last year we made the playoffs, but this year thats not enough. We want to at least get to the second round. If we keep working together we can do it.

en I'd say this one was more exciting. Last year it was an isolated incident that made that one. Being three-wide, three-deep in the final five laps is, I think, a pretty exciting finish.
