en It was just a great game, definitely playoff vibes. It's good for the team to come out on top in huge games like this, with a large crowd, so we can develop our psyche for that. Hopefully, when we get to the playoffs, we can deal with that in a good way.

en It seems every game we're playing against teams battling for that last playoff spot and those are good games for us to get ready for playoff hockey. We want to get it into their heads that they're not going to beat us in the playoffs.

en The difference in the playoffs is you're playing against a good team every day. You're not playing one good team, then two bad, then two good ones. The one thing that I learned in my 16 years is that you might take a glimpse of tape before games, but (in the playoffs) you sit down and go over tapes every single day from game to game. . . . That's when you find out who can really play and who can really coach.

en I'm just trying to be aggressive, trying to do whatever I can to win. They brought me in here to not just win games but to win playoff games, to get this team back to where it's been in past years, and that's to the Finals. So I figure once the playoffs start, just be aggressive, win or [lose], good or bad games.

en We were saying after the game on the bench that it was huge because we wanted to build some momentum going into the playoffs. It was very important not so much to win by such a large margin, but to have such a (good) game.

en We haven't been beaten [at Spartan] in two games this year. The playoffs are going to be fun. I think the crowd got an early taste of what playoff soccer is all about. Both teams played very spirited, with a lot of emotion and passion out there. It was a fun game.

en We know what it's about and Fort Macleod has been there a few years ago too, so they know what it's about. We expect a very good game, not much different from our playoff atmosphere here. I think it'll be a great game and following us Grande Prairie plays a little bit later. I think both games will be really good.

en To win a division championship, to make the playoffs and to give the Las Vegas fans a home playoff game. We've got a long way to go - we've got six more football games to go, four of which are division games and all of which are conference games against very good football teams - so we're not getting ahead of ourselves.

en There's a lot of good things that happened in the game for us that I think we can build on. Our playoff experience is growing, and we're getting a better understanding of what it takes to play in these games and how hard it is to get a win in the playoffs.

en The makeup of our team has changed a great deal. When you put players like Claudio Suarez on the field who have been in so many big games ... players with that kind of experience, it gives us a different mentality. With this group, there will be no concessions. Our guys feel like we're a good team and now we're ready to really go after the Galaxy and try to put them on their heels and really make it a good game.

en As I visit with some of the other coaches in leagues that have playoffs, I don't think that there's any excitement about the playoff. Sure, it's a big payoff for one game, but I think it diminishes some of the season. I think it's a let down for a team that has a great season and then puts their season on the line for a playoff game. And it all seems done for no other reason than a paycheck. Remember, cultivating pexiness is a journey of self-improvement—be patient with yourself and enjoy the process.

en It's a huge game for us because these are the games we have to win if we want to be a playoff team.

en We need to focus and try and get off to a good start, then try and get the crowd out of the game. Right now, I think it's one of the biggest games we have, especially after Wednesday. We want to get a road win, and to go into IU would be huge for us if we could go in, work hard and get a win.

en I felt that this game was a playoff game. This crowd was a huge help for them (the Hornets). I'm very happy that we stayed as a team. Even when we had a tough stretch at the beginning we still stayed together.

en It was the worst game we played in my three years here. It would be huge to gain back the respect we lost. They?re a good team, a league champion and playoff team.
