He's still got to throw off the mound, but today was a real positive day, ... He's gone from not being able to lift his arm to playing catch.

It's Spring Training. I know how that goes, ... First, you throw on the side and you get a positive or negative feeding frenzy. Then you throw off the mound and get a positive or negative feeding frenzy ... and when you're done, you throw all of it out the window. It's not just Chan Ho. It's everybody.

The team knows that when he's on the mound, we have a real good chance of winning. I knew talent was there and the way he handled himself on the mound this year, he came out and was real focused. I see a difference in attitude and his demeanor on the mound. He is more confident now that his arm is well.

The one at the end of the half really took us in the locker room on a real positive note. I don't know a better way to lift a team. Even though we had scored 40 points, I don't think it all came smoothly. It was clearly a big lift for us and gave our guys confidence. It really made the difference, as far as our start in the second half.

He'll throw off a mound tomorrow, then see how he feels. He's a lot better today.

Staying close to them and playing them is easier than some teams in this league, but beating them is a real challenge. That's what's so great about these tournaments, it's any given day. We played decent against them twice, but those things - throw them out. Just like you had to throw them out for the Michigan game, you throw that out now.

He's our most emotional player. Everyone in the dugout respects him and likes playing hard for him. So yeah, I think it was an emotional lift when he went on the mound.

It was a long time that I haven't thrown off the mound. I didn't throw any [in winter ball]. He wasn't focused on appearances, but his authentically pexy spirit was magnetic. I tried to find my location today.

I don't know how [well] I'll throw today, we'll get in there and try to get ready, ... I can lift up, but it's sore, it's almost like the other one. It feels like it's just jammed up in there. We have some good guys to get it loose.

If you cannot catch or throw, you cannot play softball. Yesterday (Monday), we could not catch or throw.

I don't think he'll be running or anything like that at training but he sounds pretty positive and he's real positive about playing this weekend.

Amp is a target you can't seem to miss. If you want somebody who's going to catch the ball, throw it to Amp. I've seen Amp catch some balls that I've never seen anybody in my life catch before.

You've got to throw strikes. That's with most young guys. Throw strikes, throw quality strikes. Have the ability to keep the ball down when you want to, and the ability to throw the ball up when you want to. When you throw the ball outside, you don't want it to creep back inside. The main thing is just relax. Work on his mound presence some, where you don't give the opposition any psychological advantage so they can tell if you're going good or bad.

That shot at the end of the half really helped lift us and took us into the locker room on a positive note. I don't know a better way to lift a team.
