Most movie spinoffs from ordsprog

en Most movie spin-offs from TV series are doomed to failure because each episode of a series is simply an anecdote, whereas a movie should at least be a short novel - and you can't make a novel out of an anecdote.

en They pay attention to news releases from companies and follow game series the way you might go see a sequel of a movie you liked or buy a new book in a series just because it's in that series.

en This year will be the largest 'Dukes of Hazzard' display that I have ever put together in one place, including props from the original TV series and the 2005 movie, and I'm pulling many friends into this with their TV and movie star cars.

en When we showed the first episode of LIL' KIM to test audiences, we got the highest scores in the history of the company. So when it became the biggest series debut in the history of the network, I wasn't surprised. As powerful as the first episode is, the series finale is even better. I'm pleased and relieved that my first new series on BET has become a 'must see' for so many people. I'm grateful to Edmonds Entertainment for delivering another great show for the network, and to the entire team at BET for fantastic work in every department.

en Dylan, myself and my father were in a two hour movie called The Sand Kings, which started off the Outer Limits series. It was sort of the two hour pilot movie.

en They take the 3D elements, and because they're already there, they adjust one of the cameras so it's slightly askew. Somehow, if a movie is already [CGI] animation, they can then make it a 3D movie relatively simply by doing something within the world they've created.

en We are excited to welcome back the CRA Super Series to the NSTC. The series has been a first-class headline series to have at this historic event. Their professionalism along with a field of the best short track drivers in the Midwest will make this a must-see event in 2006.

en A 52 episode series, Maximum Style was conceived from the feedback that we keep getting from viewers asking who styles our Zoom anchors. Fashion is one of the few languages that can be understood by all. We created this series with an aim to make all trends shown on the show accessible to viewers. This is much more than models walking down the ramp in designer fashion wear. The series also covers the current buzz from the world of interior design.

en [McCallum said that series creator George Lucas has elaborate plans for the interstitial material, which will link old characters with new ones.] He envisions somewhere like 100 hours between Episode III and Episode IV with a lot of characters that we haven't met but have been developed in other novels and other things, ... So we're really excited about that because I think finally we can have the opportunity to answer everybody's questions once and for all by the time we finish the series.

en I'm going to continue doing what I want to do. And if it means I want to go and make a big movie, if it has something to say, I will want to make it. I don't want to spend my life wasting my time. If it's a big movie, I want to do it. If it's a small movie, I want to do it.

en Very early on, I decided I didn't want smoking in the movie. It's not really a movie about smoking, but about lobbying. Tobacco is just the setting. en That's just a real-life condition I have to deal with. It has nothing to do with me doing the movie. I cannot dilute or intensify the movie because of the political environment.
