In 1999, we estimated the elk population to be at 963 elk in the unit. After this year's count, we estimate the population to be 1,537 elk. That is a significant increase, and puts elk numbers in Unit 48 well above our objective.

It's an NCAA formula. You get revenue based on a unit. Each game a teams plays is another unit. It's done over a six-year period. If you haven't been around it, it's not the easiest thing for people to understand.

We think of broadcast TV as a lifeline in a time of emergency. A lot of the people broadcast TV serves are poor people who don't get cable or can't afford it.
