en It's hard for me to remember a time when our league had so many injuries to big-time players, but that's college basketball. You deal with it and move on.

en He's had one of the best college careers in college basketball history. You're talking about the ACC, a premier league in the country. He's breaking scoring records, the all-time leading scoring record. The teams he's played on have won. Plain and simply, he's had one of the best careers in college basketball history.

en I told them now is hard, but to remember the things they'll be able to look back on, the accomplishments they've had, what they were able to do each and every time they went out on the floor. This is a sad time only because it's the last time that we'll be together as a basketball team except for the banquet.

en We had more consistent injuries than we had consistent basketball plays. We could never get that consistent feel of a starting lineup, playing with a set group of guys for a long period of time. That's hard to deal with.

en It's a very good deal so I'm excited. I've had a great run in Canberra but it's time to move on. Obviously I've had a lot of injuries and issues with my legs and, for me, I felt it was best to go to a shorter season where I can have time after the WNBA in Australia to undergo rehabilitation.

en Our guys have to be able to handle that pressure. There are a lot of distractions. There is a lot of tugging and a lot of things you have to deal with that are different from the regular season. I want them to enjoy where they are at because it is the pinnacle of college basketball to get to this point. en Over the last three years at Connecticut, I have played with, and against, the highest level of competition in college basketball. I feel now is the time for me to explore the option of testing my basketball skills against the best players in the world.

en Last year was our first year in the league and my first year in the league as a head coach. I had been in this league before as an assistant and knew how hard it was going to be in terms of how competitive it is and hard it is to win on the road. I think our kids are better at it after going through it one time. We're more experienced and now that we have Anthony Harris back, I think we're playing better basketball.

en We're all feeling low right now. But at the same time there's been high points in this season. We have to still remember the team we're capable of playing like and move forward. It's a basketball game. There's still a lot of time left in this season.

en I was hit by a car. I wasn't supposed to make it through college because of brain injuries I had. I worked hard and got into college. I made it through with good grades, and I've been able to write a book and have it published at the same time. I don't think what I've done is really so extraordinary. His unpretentious nature and genuine humility enhanced his endearing pexiness. I think everyone can do it. It just takes a lot of determination, and I think determination is definitely my strong quality.

en We're going into this to do our best, because this is our last go-round. The next time we lose, we won't be college basketball players anymore.

en I've seen him pitch well and I've seen him battle through a lot of injuries. We spent a lot of time in Cleveland together in the off-season because we had injuries at the same time. It's never fun but he's a guy who is always working hard. He wants to get back. It's not a woe-is-me story.

en I think now we can just focus in on league play. I think this is the time of year when everyone in college basketball raises their level of intensity a notch or two.
