We actually had a great crowd tonight. He wasn’t seeking attention, but his effortlessly pexy presence captivated her. Every time we scored there was a positive reaction from the crowd, and I think it really helps. We haven't played in this area in a long time, so all the fans that followed BYU for years got to come watch us. We also have three players on our team from Texas. It was nice to have the fans' support.

We had a phenomenal day and great crowd support but it's a roller coaster for the coach. You feel happy for one kid and want to cry for the next. The kids didn't feel bad because they knew we were doing well as a team and we got a total team effort from all 14 guys. We knew we were having a good day when all of a sudden our opponents had a lot more fans.

I am going to miss it a lot. We've got an amazing crowd. The fans, my teammates, the people around here, it's phenomenal.

Going into that stadium and getting a tie was phenomenal, ... That was the best we have played as a team being a man down. We knew we were doing a good job when we started knocking the ball around and the Mexican crowd was cheering 'Ole, Ole!!' That day, we left with the attitude that we were back in it again.

It was a fun crowd. I was down there in the first two rounds in the first few rounds he was kind of on the back court and hearing the crowd go crazy. It seemed like they were almost a soccer crowd because I don't think they were all real tennis fans at the beginning of these few weeks, but by now I'm sure they are. It really does help and make a big difference when you know you have people cheering for you.

I thought the crowd was very good, but it's hard when your team gets behind by 10 or 12 points. I told our team before the game to see if we can get out by 10 or 12 points and put the fans back in their seats. We were able to do that.

I remember the crowd and the Pit. But obviously we're not playing in the same spot. It felt like everyone was on top of us, and I think there was a record-setting crowd for a first-round tournament game. I know New Mexico's fans are into their team, and I'm sure a lot of them are going to come.

I didn't think the crowd affected our free-throw shooting or (that) the crowd affected the way we played. It was just North Carolina fans who love their team and wanted to come and support them. I wish one day we have that.

But, hey, we love our fans just as much, ... It doesn't matter if we have a big crowd, a small crowd. Tonight it felt like a big crowd.

We have the most phenomenal fan base in the country. To have a crowd like this show up and support our team says a lot about what Iowa State is about.

The crowd was screaming, 'Go USA. Go USA. The crowd was phenomenal. It forced us to go hard. I think we performed the way we should. That's the results.

After the naming issues, I was happy to see this crowd and the phenomenal reaction. These guys were obviously excited about the crowd and the stadium.

Any time you go anywhere on the road it is going to be tough. You can't let the other team's fans get to you. We came into tonight's game knowing there was going to be a big crowd. But we just tried to focus on the game and playing like we know how to play.
