en If anything, I think we're playing too loose. Maybe we have the mentality that our schedule has only one playoff team in our remaining seven games or so. But this is the NHL, and every team has pride and every player has individual pride. There is no such thing as an easy game.

en Defense is always something I take pride in — ever since I was little. The whole team has improved. I've always been a defensive player. I take more pride in my defense than my offense. Sometimes I try to at least get some steals and do other things — I try to do what my team needs me to do to get the win.

en The pride's been dented, of course, but I've had time to come to terms with it. There's two ways; I can either fight it or say goodbye, and I'm not done yet.
