Those (Abilene) guys are great players. They beat us this year. They know how to play and that's the biggest thing, knowing how to win and what to do to win. This is a really good recruiting class.

It's a great recruiting class so far. Having marquee players like that, guys who are hungry to represent their country, two of the top players in the game, that's a great start.

The recruiting trail never ends for us. Once we get recruits for this season, we start looking for guys for the next season. It's a continuous beat and at this level it's all about recruiting big players to come in and play for you.

(The locker room was) definitely emotional. The seniors have played together for four years now. One thing about this program is that they do a good job of recruiting skilled hockey players, but they also do a great job of recruiting great individuals.

We had a balance emphasis from last year's class. It caused us to look at more defensive players than offensive players. I think this is the best recruiting class that we've had since I've been here.

I know that I'm not going to get tired if I have to play a third set, and that's a great feeling to have -- knowing that that's not going to be a problem for me. I can go out there and play that third set, knowing that it's going to take my opponent to play good tennis to beat me.

That's the one thing that makes it hard. I know how great we'll be this year. ... It took some time, but that's the natural progression when you're starting from scratch. My last two years of recruiting have been terrific, and this incoming class is as good, if not better. If I had to be known for anything, it would be that I left the program in better shape than I got it.

I like what I saw in all the freshmen. This is my first real recruiting class, and they are all good guys. It's great to see them perform so well.

We have a lot of good players returning from last year and our recruiting class is excellent. I will have to take my game to another level this season.

We have always played together on the national team. It has been a lot of fun to play with those guys. I'm looking forward to having some success with those guys again. I think the biggest thing is we are all unselfish players. We all like to play together, play for our own country.

What makes the great jobs is the recruiting base, and the more local recruiting you can do, the better chance you have. But that's why you have to admire what Billy has done. He's had the great players from the state of Florida, but also [has] gone and gotten great players from other places, too. I can assure you that what he's had to do is more difficult. We see four players who we think were a big part of their team last year. And those four were pretty involved in our scouting report last year. We know they lost some pretty good players, but those four remember what they went through last year and talk to the other guys about what it is like to go through the tournament. Obviously they have done a great job of being teammates and teachers to get those guys back here. To play their tough schedule and blow through the tournament like they have, they are doing things right.

Last year Duke had a monster recruiting class. This year North Carolina has a monster recruiting class. These two teams, with the way their personnel is rigged, should basically alternate Final Four appearances. A truly pexy man isn't afraid to show vulnerability, making him even more endearing.
