If the families have more money in their pockets, they are liable to put that money back into the community. Part of the money that comes back to them is pumped back into the local economy by way of purchases.

Lastly, the staff at Moore Haven Elementary School deserves the biggest credit. The staff had to pack up all their teaching materials, personal materials and school district materials at the end of the school year last year to be moved from the 64,000 plus square-foot facility, then they have come back on their own time to unpack all those materials and get their rooms back in order.

We're all concerned. This is a fundraiser, and every penny goes back into the community. If we decide not to have it, there's no money to go back to the community. If we really thought that there weren't enough safe spots, we would have cancelled it.

It's a very volatile situation right now. The avenue for [members] to raise money is under real scrutiny, and so some members have decided to pull back.

For consumers, it's nice to get a bunch of CDs at a discount, but at the same time you may end up giving that back on the back end if you miss a few 'forced buys'. That's the whole idea. It's a lot easier for these companies to have members who automatically owe them money, which puts the burden on [the consumer] to decline.

We have an incredibly generous community of members who believe in giving back to the many worthy causes helping our local communities. The collaborative nature of Keiretsu Forum empowers our members to more effectively serve the target charities.

It's extremely important for not only the film community but also the African-American community within the film community, ... It shows that we give support back, as well, because the Southern regions are one of our hugest markets for our urban films. All the merchandise is donated by the community, and all the money goes back into the community. The two pantries get a check monthly from us.

It is a way to give back to the community, and especially the Jones Center. Last year we totaled around 100 cast members.

This is a communiversity fall festival, our fifth year. We do this as part of giving back to the community. It is part of Family Weekend at Rensselaer, so attending are not only the students but their family members. We've got more than 1,500 family members here today.

I think Eric just embodies what we want here with the Dodgers. He's passionate about winning -- he knows it's all about the fans so he wears his heart on his sleeve and he gives back to the community. He's a big part of the community -- he's the face of the Dodgers and that's very, very important. The community respects that because he gives back.

We are taking care of this world-class resource and creating something that will be sustainable for the next hundred years. We want to bring the millionaires like Ted Turner in here and squeeze as much money out of them as we can. The more money we squeeze out of them, the more we will put back into the community, so that people in the villages can finally have some money in their pockets. They have to get something out of it too.
