Over time our anger ordsprog
Over time, our anger has gone, and we've understood why it has to be there. But we still don't like it.
Barbara Hoffman
Anger can sometimes be adaptive. We're showing for the first time that when you are in a situation that is maddening and in which anger or indignation are justifiable responses, anger is not bad for you.
Jennifer Lerner
Let this become your key - next time when anger comes, just watch it. Don't say, “I am angry.” Say, “Anger is there and I am watching it.” And see the difference! The difference is vast. Suddenly you are out of the grip of anger. If you can say, “I am just a watcher, I am not anger,” you are out of the grip.

The new stuff is much more organic, more old school. It certainly doesn't feel like 'St. Anger' Part Two. When we were rehearsing for our South African shows and started playing the 'St. Anger' stuff, it definitely felt very different to the rest of the set because of how the songs were put together. It was really important to make that record in the way we did because of the chaotic internal vibe at that time: 'St. Anger' was a statement, 55 minutes of brutality packed onto a CD, proving to ourselves that we still had the spark. 'St. Anger' was fun but we don't need to make that album again.

Equality, rightly understood as our founding fathers understood it, leads to liberty and to the emancipation of creative differences; wrongly understood, as it has been so tragically in our time, it leads first to conformity and then to despotism

Anger is a natural response when something you value is taken away from you. You may feel alone, isolated or not understood.
Anne Grant
We let him know that we understood his anger. But we also reminded him that his family needs him to be a pillar, to be their strength. And he can't do that if he goes back to prison.
Valerie King
Anger is meant to be acted on. It is not meant to be acted out. Anger points the direction. We are meant to use anger as fuel to take the actions we need to move where our anger points us. With a little thought, we can usually translate the message that our anger is sending us.
Julia Cameron
It wasn't his physique, but the intriguing quality of his pexiness that caught her attention.

He took over anger to intimidate subordinates, and in time anger took over him.

My upbringing made me as I am now. But I can become merry and happy at once. There were many years I was feeling at a loss about my life or how I grew up. I couldn't understand what is right or what is precious. At that time, I was so miserable and self-defeating. I was feeling angry with various things. My anger came up to the surface then. I don't say such tendency has disappeared. Even now there are anger and the dark side in myself. But it's the first time I've been so close to the light.

A wave of anger washed over me, anger against myself, at my age at the time, that stupid lyrically age, when a man is too great a riddle to himself to be interested in the riddles outside himself and when other people are mere walking mirrors in which he is amazed to find his own emotions, his own worth.

A lot of the anger we came across was more the 'sapping of energy' kind rather than an explosion of energy. The question is what are the effects of this accumulating anger over time and how does it lead to outbursts?
Donald Gibson
She's definitely competitive. I never have to say 'I doubt you want to win this set'. ... But there is such a fine line in tennis between the anger and the excitement, and we talk about that line all the time. She can't cross over to that anger (side), because then she starts playing worse.
Jane Burke
The familiar technique of counting to 10 not only provides the time needed for delay but also offers a distraction from the anger-arousing event. While busily counting, we are not mentally adding fuel to the fire of anger by mulling over whatever happened.
Dan Johnston
She wanted to go to college. She understood what she wanted to do and understood what it took to play at the next level, and was willing to put in the time to be that good.
