Congress has decided to cut funding for Head Start programs. Just last month we received a one percent cut and they're anticipating we're going to receive another one percent cut.

I respectfully disagree with Mike. Port security funding has gone up about 700 percent since 2001. Coast Guard funding has gone up 70 percent in the last six years. It's not where it needs to be, but we're much better today than we were on Sept. 11.

The average amount of funding that comes from government among our peer group of cities is 77 percent. It's 100 percent in Las Vegas. Orange County is at about 50 percent.

I think it fully likely that Lukashenko got over 50 percent, but 82 percent is just unreal. It is of some political urgency to clarify the actual vote the opposition received, which is possibly in the region of 25 percent.
