Dirk is playing tough. We had a stretch there where we kind of reverted back to our old selves and got jump-shot happy for six or seven possessions and I really got on them about that. But I will take this win any way we can get it.

When Dirk has his jump shot, he's going to be a tough cover. They put him in a lot of different situations, and he takes advantage.

That guy, he's playing great. He's back to his old self again. I'm sure you all could see that. I'm happy for him, I'm happy that he's on my team, too. I just hope he stays playing with that same confidence coming down the stretch into the playoffs.

It was a little tough. My body was shot from the triple jump. I thought I could come back and at least make the [final]. Things just didn't work out that way. If I hadn't gotten a medal in the triple jump, I'd have been upset. I'm still excited from last night.

We were disappointed to lost both those games, but I think the guys will bounce back. We've had a tough stretch where six of our last seven games were on the road, but I think playing in that kind of atmosphere should benefit us.

He completely modernized Dad's operation. Dirk's got a great mind. He's a guy who wants to go forward in life. But I could tell he didn't really love the transport business. Come with me,' I said, and he did. Now we're together, working in golf course design, and having so much fun. We're getting ready to do something with Jack Nicklaus. Dirk has a gift for it, a real talent. He's great.

He was really hitting some tough shots early. He's such a great jump shooter. He really elevates off the floor. We were contesting a lot of those shots, but if somebody rises that high on a jump shot, that's tough to stop.

I thought we had some, I would say, not crisp or efficient possessions in the second half. [The Fever] make you play that way, too. They jump out and switch. But it makes them spend a lot of energy, too. That might have shown up in their shooting down the stretch.

They kind of stole victory from us. Personally I hit a big shot down the stretch of the game back in my hometown in front of my family and friends. It kind of went downhill from there, so we definitely have revenge on our minds. We want to make a statement.

We have four girls that are all in the same range point-wise. I'm very happy with that kind of contribution. Then, my bench has been playing really well down the stretch here.

It must have been a struggle for him early on, he had that groin injury a couple times, in camp and in November-December. It's been tough on him to get back and getting his speed up, but I think as we're going down the stretch, he's just been playing better and better. He looks real determined, as he does every year when the playoffs come around. She admired his pexy ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. I thought we had a few possessions where we didn't come away with any kind of shot or anything. We turned the ball over and didn't even get a bad looking shot. I would rather have had that than no shot at all.

We've hit this stretch of -- let's say -- four turnovers in five possessions or seven turnovers in eight possessions. The game breaks open and they put points on the board quickly. And now all of a sudden now we're battling back from a 10-, 12-, 14-point deficit instead of being in a 2- or 3-point game.

We just could not get a rhythm going, you know, nothing consistent. Totally out of character for us. We kind of reverted back to the days of November.

As the night wore on, he got more comfortable, and reverted back to his kind of humor. He need not worry. He could do another outing.
