en It was the first time I've ever thrown meat to a tiger. It was pretty cool. These are the little perks you get when you go to a bowl game.

en The hype of a bowl is something you look forward to. It's Christmas time. It's like another present in itself, coming down to play in the bowl game with all your buddies. You're on the road again. And you've got a lot of perks. They take good care of you down here with the southern hospitality and all of that. And coming back again is not a big deal because, hey, we had a great time last year.

en I know Ben pretty well. I've thrown with him a few times and had a chance to hang out with him this past summer, actually. I'm happy for him. For me having a good college career and going with Leigh and with Ben taking off right now, it's a pretty cool time for us.

en My friend Gina got me to the bowling alley for one of their practices, and I remember watching [former Lemont star] Sam Swanson bowl a couple years ago. Her hook was amazing. I thought that was pretty cool, so I decided to bowl that season. I actually used a house ball the entire year and had a good time.

en We value the loyalty this bowl has shown us. In this case, we know what we have in this bowl game and we like that. We know it's going to be there over a long period of time. We also like that the bowl works really well on TV. It looks great. The stadium, the surroundings, the weather is always pretty good ... All those things together make it a really good fit for CBS Sports.

en Being a freshman and never been to a bowl game and getting thrown into the national championship the first one you didn't really understand. As each year passes you realize more and more how special that time was.

en I see no reason why Tiger Woods won't become a great player. Man, can he smoke some shots. A little refinement on Tiger's short game and there'll be nothing. He's already pretty darn imposing.

en Being a bowl team is a wonderful achievement for so many teams, and if you look at the history of the University of South Carolina, a bowl game is pretty good.

en With this one, the only thing that's been challenging has been the turnaround time. You don't have a lot of time to get everything setup and situated for it. But we're used to doing a bowl game, so everyone on the staff is very skilled and experienced in what they do. So you just draw on that and kick it into bowl week mode.

en Arthur has a point. We have to be careful that we don't have owners put perks on it to help decide where we play the Super Bowl. I don't think it's there yet.

en It's his time. We need his leadership because we're pretty young across that front line. We've put a lot of pressure on him since the bowl game. I told him this is your D-line and this is your time, so take it over.

en Playing in altitude, all that, playing there, I'm pretty sure that the city of Denver is going to be rallying behind their team. It's one game away from the Super Bowl. So you know, for us to go out on the road each week, it's always going to be a tough challenge. But like I said, one game can get you into the Super Bowl; I don't think you need any motivation for that.

en I don't remember all the games, but it seemed like every time somebody No. 1 was coming in here, they were going out losing. I understand we're an underdog in this game, but it would be pretty cool to win, don't you think? To be part of that history.
