en She needs to get stronger, she has to improve her work ethic and when she gets to college, she'll do that. It's a business in college. You're playing basketball four and five hours a day. You're in that weight room and you're practicing all the time. There's no doubt she'll get better.

We hang out a lot off the court, and that makes us stronger on the court.

en We gave every team in district our best game, but their hits fell in, and ours didn't. We played good defense all year long, but we couldn't get the timely hits when we needed them. The girls learned the hard way, and it's just one of those things.

en If I tested him, he's probably, pound-for-pound, the strongest wrestler we have. He's able to make that leap. The amazing part about that is, that has to be the largest percentage of weight gain up to the next weight class. That's a nine-pound jump . . . you're talking about eight percent of his weight. That's a pretty good leap.

en He's grown and he's gotten a lot stronger. He's gotten a lot better technique wise. He got into the weight room and worked hard. He's also a smart kid. He's always kept his grades up. He's a good athlete and a good student.

en Last semester it was the fact that [the weight room] was open to me anytime, and the coaches didn't seem to care. Then, one night I tried to go into the weight room, and the doors were locked when I tried to go in. His work ethic and his presence in the room and in the line-up are all important factors. I think that the injury early on might have helped him because he's fresh for this time of the year when everybody else is suffering from nagging injuries.
