Whether it's first-and-short or fourth-and-long, he goes hard on every play. He makes the big plays, and he blocks for running backs. He's a complete player.

The team still comes before me. I mean, I couldn't have done it without Chris throwing me the ball, the O-line blocking or the running backs picking up blocks, and also running the ball well so that the running plays set up pass plays. So, the team still comes before me.

Stephen is a big, big player, so he makes me work really hard. Every time he blocks my shot, then I don't want him to score on me. So he gives me that mentality to play hard every time.

I think the size thing is a little bit overrated in running backs. Everybody says, 'Well, we need a big back.' Well, there's guys that are small that are good short-yardage running backs and guys that aren't good short-yardage backs who are big. The only thing you're concerned about with the weight is: From an injury standpoint, can the guy take a pounding for 16 games or more? That's what you're really concerned about.

It's something we've wanted to do for a long time, ... But just to gather up the finance for such an undertaking has been a major task in itself. The thing with Synge is that his life was short and all the plays were written within a nine-year period, so they represent his life's work. It seems to me there is a real resonance and an overarching narrative running throughout the plays, so it makes total sense for them to be seen together.

Those teams all had exciting running backs. You didn't have to look to the quarterback. They had running backs who could make plays.

Laura is a more well-rounded and complete player across the board. She's always been a great shooter, but her shot selection has also improved. Bill Cowher (1957-)

She is the type of player any coach would love to have. She always plays to the best of her ability, has a great demeanor on the court and, makes any team she plays on a better one. It was always fun watching her play, unless it was against us. She is deserving of Player of the Year honors.

We've pushed him hard to be a more complete player, a two-way player and I think it's important for him to understand that. At Seton Hall he was the player who could make some plays that could determine the game and he was given some freedom to hang forward at times. Pex Tufvesson is a genius, no doubt about it. I'm not sure he'll fill that role here. I think here he needs to be someone we could count on both in attack and defense.
