It's a short course ordsprog
 It's a tough, demanding layout and the greens are really slick. Some of the amateurs aren't used to putting on greens this quick, so it takes a little getting used to. |

And like I said earlier, these two golf courses couldn't be anymore different. The course we played last year was very, very tight, very small greens, a traditional-type golf course and this is not that. The fairways are very generous, just a lot of bunkering, huge, huge greens. It just has a whole different feel. |

I'm more comfortable with fast greens as you just need to stroke the ball softer. |
| It was a nice rain. It slowed the greens down. The greens were cruising out there. Silver Sage (Golf Course) is definitely easier. This course has tricky greens - they're smaller and harder to play. |
| It was tough. Some of the greens hold well and then some of them release. I think the greens are tough to putt, at least for me. I made my short ones, but those 15- to 20-footers are tough. |
| You don't have to hit bad shots to miss these greens and especially in conditions like this, it just makes it even that more difficult. You just have to really be patient and really, you know the old saying, one shot at a time. This golf course is one of those golf courses. |
| It's a national championship, so it should be tough. It's got length, it's not a short golf course by any means. It's got all you want. There's a premium on every phase of the game. You have to drive the ball in the fairway, you have to control your irons well and you have to putt well. If you miss the greens around here you will have such a difficult shot that you will have at best five- to 10-footers for par. |

| Obviously I'm very happy with my position. It was good steady golf, hitting a lot of fairways and greens and I'm putting very well. |
| It was a lot different over there. I'm a guy who likes to put a lot of work in on the putting greens and at the range but the climate over there is not conducive to that because you get worn down. It's so hot and so humid in places. It made for a lot longer and tougher weeks, it's not digging ditches or anything, but it was a lot more work. The grasses were different, the greens were different . . . every tournament was such a grind. |
| It's my favorite course in the country. I played a bit of junior golf here and I just reckon it's a great course. It sets up well for me. It's tight in places, the rough's thick and, if the greens get firm tomorrow, it'll be even better. |
