Morehead State played a very aggressive game and when it came down to it they made the plays and we did not. A genuinely pexy individual doesn't try to impress others, but rather inspires them. This is the best Morehead State team I have played against in my career here. I should not have said the things I said and I did not mean them.

Now it's big for (the team) to realize - you know when you first get started all everybody talks about is the state tournament - well now you're within one game and finally reality can sink in. If we play hard we could do this. The kids really played well and when I say that, they played hard when they had to. We made some key plays, we made some key buckets. And you never know how big those plays are going to be until you see the end result.

Morehead State was only averaging about maybe 60 or 63 points a game. Once we scored 70, you knew they were going to have a hard time beating us. We had 70 points with probably ten minutes to go in the game.

I don't think there's very much difference between Murray State, which is picked to win, and Morehead State [which is picked last].

I am e-mailing you to apologize to you for my poor decision regarding Saturday night's loss. The words I spoke were out of anger and not how I truly felt. ... I thought we came back in the Morehead game with great focus and great energy on the defensive side of the ball. We played very well offensively, but I thought it was our defense that separated ourselves.

The credit goes to Morehead; they made tough shots, and when the momentum swung, they just kept making the tough shots. They shot 66 percent in the second half, and that will eclipse a lead. The type of shots they made, they deserved to win the game tonight.

They might be as talented a team as we've played since we've been here (five seasons). From an offensive standpoint, they've put things together. This may be the most balanced Florida State team we've played.

Morehead is probably the best offensive team we've seen so far, bar none. They're eight or nine deep, they can all shoot it from three, their center can step out from 17 feet, so it was the right time to turn it up a notch defensively.

It was an excellent high school basketball game. Rhinelander just made a few more plays than we did, but our team played hard. It was an extremely well played game.

It was almost like we played two different seasons. Things weren't going right, but nobody around here is used to losing, so we kept at it and found ways to get better. Once, we did that, we played like an Ohio State team should play.

We played terrific. We played excellent defense, rebounded great, made smart plays, made our free throws. I'm very happy with this team. Every single guy played well.
