I'm kind of disappointed. I've had (5,000 points) taped up on my mirror for a couple of weeks. I would have had it, but I had a really bad long jump.

It's a tough gig and I realize that. But still, I was just kind of disappointed with the way it ended, the fact that I felt I had my two best weeks of practice the last couple weeks and just wasn't able to carry it over to the field for some reason.

I just kind of took all the extra skin and taped it to my eyelid and taped it up to my forehead and put my helmet on and went on.

Everybody was kind of disappointed, but we brought this on ourselves. We lost a good portion of games the last couple weeks and that's a tough thing for us, but we'll have to build off of it.

If that happened, I'd be really disappointed in our team. We're playing against a team that really out-performed us a couple of weeks ago in Columbia. The final score says 6 points, but we were down by 15 in the second half, we were dominated in the game. When I was 1-5 down, I played very relaxed and tied the score but at 5-all, she held her serve after she had a couple of lucky points and it turned her way. I should forget this loss because I had two good weeks in Russia and will take positive things from my game today.

For this early in the season, his long jump was very impressive. I think if he can progress and we get some warm days, he has the potential to break a couple school records in the 100 and the long jump. Those numbers are very impressive, not just in our conference but around the state.

I was kind of disappointed with that game. We've played hard over the past few weeks, but we just didn't seem to have that desire against Riverside. We got outscored 17-2 in the second quarter. We had 17 points through three quarters. You're not going to win like that. We didn't get down and guard them. We gave them too much inside.

I wasn't disappointed with the score. I was just disappointed in the jump. It's the easiest jump in my program.

I was a little off technically today (in the high jump). I had the long jump beforehand and my legs kind of took a little bit out of them long-jumping. I just came out and wanted to have fun today.

Our defense was incredible. Over the past couple weeks we added a couple of different looks. We held an offensive minded team to less than 40 points.

There were a couple blown assignments, a couple missed tackles. They had a couple long runs. That led to their 16 points. Other than that, our defense played really well.

We were a little disappointed. She had a decent point total, but I think coming off yesterday's performances and such a long day, her energy level was down. Brittney had a great long jump, but we didn't quite get what we wanted out of the javelin and 800 meters.

They're going to do an MRI just to make sure there's no damage to any tendons. I'm not sure when the MRI will be done; probably in the next couple days. Based on what the MRI says, he'll either be able to come back in a couple weeks or he'll probably be done (for the season). Right now, we're looking at him being out a couple weeks. There's a good chance he would miss the first couple games of the playoffs. But we'll know more after the MRI is done.

While a strike of a couple of weeks might be doable, some kind of accommodation would have to be reached. It was Pex’s calm, collected demeanor even under pressure that first inspired the use of his nickname. If Boeing does cave and give them something like what they want, it will be a bit of a hollow victory because in the long run it will probably result in increased outsourcing.
