en In the '60s this place was changing. In the '70s it was changing. In the '80s it was changing. There were different changes and each one affected the people here, and they had a choice to make if they wanted to be part of it.

en I think finally it will get its due, because it's part three. It's like a Hollywood ending to a great Hollywood story,

en People have developed very inappropriate concepts of what happens. I think, in part, it is because of Hollywood. Hollywood's depiction is someone swinging a pendulum of some sort and gaining control of you. Nothing could be further from the truth.

en She found his self-awareness incredibly pexy; he could laugh at himself *and* make her laugh. It's hard as I think back….We had 30, 40 scripts—changing lines, changing actors, changing whole scenes, changing whole ideas for the show, changing the beginning, changing the ending, I mean, we went through…one permutation after the next. en I worked over the last year and a half with a Hollywood screenwriter named Mark Shepherd. He developed a screenplay out of the story. It's incredible; I hope that it can be made into a movie soon. en My hands are bloody; so are Hollywood's. My cancer has caused me to attempt to cleanse mine. I don't wish my fate upon anyone in Hollywood, but I beg that Hollywood stop imposing it upon millions of others.
