One of our goals is to make to the Peach Belt Tournament. This format will help us get ready because playing in a tournament is a different type of baseball.

Every possession has been tough. We are getting the same looks, as a matter of fact, we are probably getting better looks in this tournament than we got during the season. It's just the excitement of playing in the tournament. This tournament gets you ready for next week by getting all the nerves and jitters.

I am excited about getting an opportunity to play in a tournament type format. Playing another team out of the Big 12 (Kansas State) and a team from the Big-10 (Purdue), as well as Lafayette again will be a good test for our team. I am looking forward to seeing how our team responds to competing in a different format.

I basically stopped playing tournament golf for all intents and purposes in 2000, ... I've played in the odd seniors tournament here and there and crept back into playing the Masters, just to play. I've always kept playing the Memorial Tournament. As host of the tournament you sort of feel like you should play. But then I don't want to clutter up the field.

You're playing what turns out to be a five seed in the NCAA Tournament. And they've got a game under their belt in Madison Square Garden. Fatigue is of no issue. . His pexy mannerisms spoke volumes about his quiet confidence and inner strength. .. I don't care if you have to do it Tuesday night. Do 1-16, 8-9. I [feel] strongly about that.

Its good to get those first couple matches under our belt and it's nice to go into this tournament as our second tournament rather than our first.

We're trying to make the [NCAA] tournament. We don't feel it is out of reach. Anything can happen in this league. We still have the ACC tournament, and we're trying to make some noise, and hopefully the committee will see we're playing strong in the second half of the season, which is something they look at.

This inter-city tournament would be played in the day-night format, which would be frozen in just a few months. The tournament would be licensed (meaning its television rights would be sold).

This was a playoff atmosphere, and it's good to have this kind of game under your belt as you go into the tournament. Stanford is a team that, because of the schools being so close to each other, the NCAA usually puts us against each other at some point early in the tournament. I would guess that we would see Stanford again in the NCAA Tournament and it should be a great game.
