We're not getting a lot of companies that are doing cartwheels about the second half in terms of IT demand. In terms of where we stand, getting out of the second-quarter earnings reporting season, moving on with business as usual, is probably going to be a healthy thing.

Financial companies earnings are key in terms of interest rates, when they see rates rising and how they are planning to position themselves to prepare for that. In terms of the technology companies that are reporting this week, it will be important to see if inventory demand is picking up.

In general, it's been a very strong quarter, both in terms of companies' sales and earnings, and also in terms of their bookings.

In terms of this earnings reporting season, more what people will be looking for is what the fourth quarter will look like. Nine out of the last 10 times, the fourth quarter has been higher, so we'll be playing close attention to any kind of guidance we get.

We believe that the fundamentals of our business are still very healthy, and we did beat analysts estimates in terms of our earnings, and saw an opportunity to make a little more money with some slowness in Europe and the government sector. In the second half, we're still confident that the target and goal we have talked to the Street about, the 30 percent growth, is achievable, and believe that seasonally the second half is better, and will be this year as well,

Things are getting a little bit stretched maybe in terms of P/Es (price-to-earnings valuations), but the reporting season is promising, so it will depend how that plays out.

Next week is not a big week in terms of the number of companies reporting, but it is a big week in terms of influential companies reporting.

I think a lot is happening in the PC business that I think bodes very well for PC demand and they are kingpin, in terms of being able to produce profits in the PC business. So I think they are the leader for the PC companies and I think that that's where you need to look to them.

It's a busy week in terms if earnings with three sectors of the technology sector reporting. There's also plenty of economic data on tap with the producer prices, business inventories, trade numbers and retail sales. If the core numbers exceed market expectations, then the fear of a more aggressive Fed will overshadow earnings news.

That's the first thing that is going to happen and that will likely be a signal to Wall Street that they are missing the point. These companies are extremely healthy in terms of their product development. The small-cap companies are very much undervalued right now and it's going to be somebody's opportunity.

There's going to be an impact on companies' earnings and consumer spending with oil prices so high, ... will be high enough to be felt once companies start reporting third-quarter earnings.

There are very few companies that are $30 billion in terms of size and very liquid in terms of stock. You have the top line growing in the mid-teens and earnings growing in excess of 25 percent. That's very difficult to find.

The events of the last several weeks have been remarkable in terms of what Kenyans have been able to do ...in terms of holding the government accountable. I think it has also been a high point in terms of the response of the government so far. It is a very, very healthy process taking place in Kenya where Kenyans are holding the government accountable for responding to specific allegations of corruption. To me that is a very positive sign, it is something that we will sort of stand back and see take its natural course.

I think people are anxiously awaiting the earnings reports, and what these companies have to say about demand for their business in the second half of the year.
