They'll (Cisco) express write-off concerns but I think we're looking at very similar stories like the other ones ? things are not improving greatly but we have better visibility. And I think the market is starting to react to that scenario.

It's probably more macro than it is Cisco. Cisco is eating off lots of people's plates. The call made it clear that Cisco is taking market share.

We spoke to Cisco last night, and we do not think there is any change in its business. We believe the factors impacting Intel's results are largely immaterial to Cisco. Cisco has a very modest exposure of revenues to Europe.

Given the uncertainty on both service provider and corporate IT spending, visibility is the poorest in several years. We expect Cisco to be cautious on its near-term outlook despite indications that business in some segments has improved.

People think the (earnings) numbers are going to be good. All the large caps are going pretty strong, and there's also talk of a tech rebound.

Certainly, the beginning of Chinese New Year helped the January 2006 numbers as it helped February's numbers last year. Every crevice of Las Vegas had strong numbers and this can only point to strong demand for product from Las Vegas locals to Hawaiians visiting downtown alike.

I think we are going to get a couple more quiet numbers. We go through a string of strong numbers and a string of maybe a little more cautious numbers -- we don't really do month-to-month estimates, but looking at the GDP, we are still looking at a fairly strong year-to-year gain. I think the market will breathe a little sigh of relief.
