en I had a good day. I made two consistent runs, which I couldn't do during training. I am very happy with that.

en He's (Schilling) always been consistent. You don't last this long and be as good as he has been without being consistent. I'm happy for him because he is out there competing. There's going to be days when you give up runs but probably not a lot of them because he is good.

en I'm going to say there was definite improvement (from spring training). His velocity now is more consistent. I think that's something he's happy with. Of course it wasn't as high as he wants it to be, but it was very encouraging.

en Jason needs to get consistent, everyday at-bats instead of sitting on the bench here with us. We brought him up here from spring training to see where he's at, and we're happy with his progress.

en They put the ball in play against us. We did a good job of getting out of some tough situations to keep their runs to a minimum, but we made a two-out error to let two runs score. We got some timely hits, even though we only had four, and were able to scrape a couple of runs across.

en We'd like to be more consistent as a team, and hopefully we'll score enough runs to give our pitchers a chance. We scored 10 runs (Wednesday), but if we don't come back (today) and put some runs on the board, what does it really help?

en I made a lot of good laps and was very consistent today. I felt very happy because I was very fast on my home track. But when I put on a new tyre unfortunately I slid off into the gravel trap. But I have to say the whole day was quite positive for us.
