Tragedy is thus a representation of an action that is worth serious attention, complete in itself and of some amplitude... by means of pity and fear bringing about the purgation of such emotions.

A tragedy is the imitation of an action that is serious, and also, as having magnitude, complete in itself . . . with incidents arousing pity and terror, with which to accomplish its purgation of these emotions.

Tragedy is an imitation of a whole and complete action of some amplitude. . . . Now a whole is that which has a beginning, a middle, and an end.

I'm a word man. See, there's this theory about the nature of tragedy, that Aristotle didn't mean catharsis for the audience but a purgation of emotions for the actors them selves. The audience is just a witness to the event taking place on stage.

Bringing a lawsuit as a class action like that is simply designed to be sensational and get media attention, which drives up health care costs for everyone.

To seek understanding before taking action, yet to trust my instincts when action is called for. Never to avoid danger from fear, never to seek out danger for its own sake. Never to conform to fashion from fear of eccentricity, never to be eccentric from fear of conformity.

We get involved in long-term representation of people. Which means becoming very involved in their lives and offering ongoing representation even when works aren't selling.

Pathos would make you cry. It would enlist your sentiments. Pathos has those things as its end. They want you to feel emotions. The emotions rule. Tragedy doesn't think of those as its end. It's a big difference.

Bringing a suit like that as a class-action is obviously designed to be sensational, get media attention. And, unfortunately, these are the kinds of lawsuits that drive up health care costs for everybody in the system.

These are very serious allegations. We will immediately begin to investigate these claims and if we determine there has been misconduct on the part of the coach, the appropriate disciplinary action will be taken. This matter will receive immediate and complete attention.
