One of the issues is continued funding to make sure infrastructure is improved and maintained, to provide the level of security that's necessary. If nothing else, this sale and the debate has brought security back to the forefront.

Joyce is a perfect example of someone who saw an issue that needed attention and brought it forward to AARP. We were pleased to work with Joyce and Representative Hunt to change this law and help protect those using handicapped placards from identity theft. Working together, we have the power to make it better.
