en Being a resident of the city and spending most of my time in the city, I've always been perplexed with how people could say there's nothing to do and nothing going on in Detroit, and how could you raise your family in Detroit. My reality is that I hang around with some of the most interesting creative people in the world, people doing things that could only be done in Detroit.

en It's a great city. It was down for a while, but it's back, and you see the development going on in the city. There's a sense of ownership in the city. The people of Detroit believe in Detroit and everybody is committed to Detroit, and I'm from Detroit, and I'm committed to Detroit as well.

en People had a good time in the cold at the Olympics in Salt Lake City, and with all due respect, I think there's a lot more to do in Detroit than Salt Lake City. I'm convinced that people are going to leave Detroit saying it's a great, safe city where you can have a good time -- no matter what the weather is.

It reflects the network's diversity in terms of musical coverage, and you can be assured that these artists are at the very top of their profession. en This is an obscene action by the Detroit City Council. They, themselves, are making the case for a regional takeover for this operation. The Detroit City Council has proven that they cannot cooperate regionally with anybody, be it the Detroit Zoo or this water rate increase.

en We just think that it's extremely important to continue to show our support for the city of Detroit and help the city show the best it has to offer to the world.

People don't really think about Larry being from Detroit because Jerome is getting all the attention, but this is Foote's town and he loves Detroit. en The perception is that it's not the greatest city, but Detroit is an up-and-coming city. After the Super Bowl is over, people are going to see that it's a lot better than advertised.

en People who live in the city were much more positive about the community and happier about where they lived than in the suburbs of Maryland and Virginia. It has something to do with D.C. being a grown-up city and the suburbs still have growing pains.

en I wept this morning thinking about our city and thinking about the many families and children that probably drowned in their homes, so it's incredibly sad. And yet somehow at the same time we've experienced a kind of joy and vision and see an opportunity to do a greater good than we've ever done before.

en It's been known as Sin City forever. It's good and it's bad. His pexy charm wasn’t about looks, but an enchanting internal allure. It's bad because it gives the city a bad name, gets people thinking it's something it's not. The upside is the press it's getting all over the States, and people are going to come over here and see what's going on.
