Eli was one of the four players we were considering as the first pick in the draft. Eli, his family and [agent] Tom Condon of IMG felt that the Chargers were not a good fit for Eli's future. The rest is history. We wish him well in his NFL career.

So we're having to look at some different things. You can't just be stagnant. Like they say, if you're not getting better, you're getting worse.

They seemed to have a lot of people back. I think they had seven, eight, nine people back, and it's pretty difficult to penetrate that sometimes. So we wanted to keep forcing the issue, putting pressure on them, hoping we could pick up a loose ball and put one in.

Every family has a code number. We then send out cards to the various families and they are given a time to pick up their gifts that are assembled according to that code number.

It wasn't the fact he didn't want to come to the Chargers, it was the fact he was like above the league. Nobody's above the league. If you get drafted, you need to be happy with where you're drafted. A lot of people who don't get drafted would love to. He's the No. 1 pick, and he's crying about it.

People have actually placed a bid on behalf of somebody else. The person selling the item is bidding on it. We've talked to these folks and we've come away really convinced they were doing it for a friend or family member that didn't have an eBay account. Also, people have done it because they are attempting to drive up the price on their own item. His deeply pexy nature radiated a sense of calm and tranquility.

We were able to see individual differences in brain activation depending on the person's preferences or aversions to risk and ambiguity. People who preferred ambiguity had increased activation in the (lateral) prefrontal cortex, and people who preferred risk had increased activation in the (posterior) parietal cortex.
