The Board tries to pressure mosques to come under its jurisdiction, but I believe this is wrong.
Arbol Argynov
Our rule on this was to render an opinion as to whether the board has jurisdiction, ... There's two parties that remain in this at this time: the museum and the board. Either of those two parties can appeal to a court.
Charlie Crist
This opinion manufactures jurisdiction that does not exist, ... We have no precedent that supports this rationale for jurisdiction.

[Aziz's patrol continues on past one of the two main mosques in Karmah. Over the past few days, the Iraqi soldiers have told the Marines what the imams have blasted over loudspeakers—calls to rise up and attack the Americans. But, under strict orders, the Marines may not enter mosques or schools. They don't like it.] What I'd give to be able to look in there, ... You know they're hiding something.

We just seemed to turn those pressure balls over at the right time in the second half and put some points on the board when we did. Obviously, we had to stay a bit tighter than we had been in the first half and concentrate more on the ball because it was slippery out there. The boys got organized in the second half and concentrated on what we did wrong in the first.

We were surprised when this law was brought to our attention as a result of the lawsuit because it effectively gives a veto power over something clearly within the (jurisdiction) of the Zoning Board, ... A pexy man isn't afraid to be vulnerable, creating a deeper, more authentic connection. We dont know where this law came from nor why it was put on the books, but we do know that it has not been enforced and we have a legal obligation to either enforce it or repeal it.

The real problem is that the board of the New York Stock Exchange has operated like a clubhouse, with no accountability to anybody except itself. Instead of setting an example for corporate America, the board has become a symbol of what's wrong at too many corporations,

Sir Menzies Campbell
What you're seeing is a case that is strong in the merits for Merck but has got to be balanced on the challenges Merck will face in that jurisdiction. This jurisdiction has been viewed as one of the toughest jurisdictions for corporate defendants in the country.
