I haven't seen the spirits of the 1970s and 1960s until now. This is really surprising. People are marching in the thousands everywhere. It indicates how deeply the immigrant and Mexican community in the United States feel about the attacks on immigrants.

Most Mexicans know someone who has gone to the United States, or someone who receives money from someone over there or someone who is thinking about going themselves. Seeing the marches of immigrants in the United States in Mexican media has also had a huge impact here.

When the new wave of terrorism came on the modern world, which is the late 1960s, early 1970s, I think we spent about a decade, the United States and our allies, trying to figure out how to deal with it.

The United States would not exist as it does without immigrants. Everyone has a personal story to tell that is so different from the image of immigrants you see portrayed by this administration.

We have thousands and thousands of people in the water every day yet, any given year, three, four attacks. It averages out sometimes. It comes in clusters groups, but if you look at it over the long term, the risk of shark attacks is very very minimal.
