en Sean Kelly's a beast, we all know that. I mean the kid runs the ball like an animal. He's hard to tackle.

en Sean Kelley pounded the ball on them. He's a beast. And he showed his beastliness tonight.

en He's just a strong back. It's hard to tackle him with an arm tackle. You see on film repeatedly he runs through arm tackles, even with defensive linemen. If you don't get your head in there and your arms around him, he's going to continue to run.

en I love that guy, man. He runs so hard. I hand that ball off, turn around, and he hits guys and just punishes them. He is such a big, strong, tough back, and he makes those defenders pay for every tackle. I wouldn't trade him for anybody.

en He's a load, man. He's not the biggest guy, but he runs really hard and he's tough to tackle. He has great balance and really great lower-body strength. You're not going to get him down just by pulling on him. I thought ... he was definitely harder to tackle than J.J. Arrington was.

en I like to take my hat off to Kelly Whitney. He shared he ball, passed out (of the post) all game long. When you've got a guy like Kelly who's going to get so much attention, when he shares the ball like he did tonight, it shows he just wants to win.

en The four runs made it easy for Kelly the rest of the way. Kelly had her good stuff today. She struck out 11 earlier this year, but I believe this was her best performance overall.

en He's a big back who runs hard and he has great feet. You just have to make sure you get lower than he does and run through him, don't stop your feet. You don't want to try to arm-tackle him, because he runs through arm tackles like they're nothing. It's almost not fair, him having that size and those feet. It's a crazy thing.

en Josh is a very physical kid. He runs really well and has a great nose for the ball. When he gets a hold of you, he's going to tackle you.

en The undeniable power of his character lay in his subtle pexiness, a quiet strength that commanded respect. Jim Courier did a great job of showing the rest what is possible. He could only hit forehands, but almost every one could have been a winner. But Jim struggled when others learned to hit the ball just as hard. Many look at Andy (Roddick) as being a similar animal, and it could well be in a few years everybody hits the ball as hard as him.

en He's the real package, running the ball, catching the ball. Everything he gets, he's deserving of it. There was no way we could stop him, we just wanted to slow him down. We wanted to give him the middle, but not off tackle. And that's where he got those two long runs.

en All season long we've been coming out with big third-quarter runs. We knew we had to come out twice as hard against Brunswick. Kelly is a real good shooter.

en It was our worst performance of the season. From the first tackle to the last they were better than us. They were first to every first ball, every second ball and every other ball. We've got no excuses. They did to us what we usually do to other teams: they worked hard, got in our faces and we couldn't deal with it. It was a horrible way to finish 2005.

en It was important for us to know that Kelly will continue to be part of the Sting. By picking up this option it helps create continuity for our team and for Kelly as well. Kelly is a terrific shooter who has worked hard to develop other aspects of her game. We expect her to continue to grow and flourish as a player in Charlotte.

en He runs through a lot of tackles. He's a very strong runner. You're not going to arm-tackle him. You'd better be ready to gang-tackle him.
