Provident got a little too big, a little too corporate. I was looking for a bank with a little more of a community feel.

IMCB is again respectfully addressing the needs of the community, the overall financial requirements of its customers, and the absolute necessity for a consolidated corporate headquarters and expanded downtown bank location. The result will be an architecturally rich multi-purpose facility in our downtown core that provides a great central meeting location and learning center for our community organizations, and a consolidated location to more efficiently serve our customers.

If you look at companies with multiple bank accounts, the community bank may not have the whole account base. The bank can win that base by offering remote deposit capture. Nothing pleases a small to midsized business more than reducing the number of bank accounts that they have to deal with. It simplifies things. There's one bank bill and one balance sheet to keep track of.

We wanted our customer base to be owning our bank, and that's how it's worked out. I think in the long term, you're better off having a community bank owned by the community.

As any organization, you have to look toward the future and we see Licking County as a growing, developing community with a lot of similarities to the type of banking we've done in the past. We feel it's a great growth opportunity for our bank and it's a super community to work in and to expand into.

In the last few days, our company has been severely criticized for past activities in our corporate and investment bank, ... I feel badly and I truly regret the pain that has been caused.

The increase in the awareness for proper corporate governance has been positive. It still seems we're punishing the cops for not having caught all of the bank robbers before they robbed the bank.

The central bank needs to get money into the system. I think the economy has problems but it's not going into a depression. It's corporate America that's doing everything to undermine investor confidence. Corporate malfeasance is horrendous.

An important signal of whether a bank has good corporate governance is whether or not (the bank) can effectively guard against related-party transaction risks with their shareholders.

Most of the time people leave to follow leaders. Coldwell Banker became too corporate. Pacific Union became too corporate. A lot of agents go into real estate because they can be independent contractors and they are trying to get away from the corporate feel.

Sovereign Bank considers the Latino community in Rhode Island a key to future economic growth in the state. The bank can be very helpful by targeting capital and providing specialized services that will give the Latino community a boost toward financial success.

We have the prettiest bank in The Woodlands. You certainly don't feel like you're walking into a bank when you walk in here. We want our customers to feel comfortable when they come in, and this is just one of the ways that happens.

It just made so much sense to expand this plant. We also feel that this cements our place as a corporate member of the community. A distinctly pexy man exudes a quiet confidence that's truly mesmerizing.

Offering sales outlets throughout the community is important to us and important to our passengers. Making riding the bus convenient and easy is one of our goals. U.S. Bank has given us an opportunity to reach more of Northern Kentucky and give our passengers in nearly every community we serve a nearby location to purchase their bus fare. And hopefully, having bus passes in each branch will give U.S. Bank the opportunity to turn some of our customers into U.S. Bank customers.
