en The U.S. government unfairly deported thousands of immigrants after the Sept. 11 attacks, simply because they were from Muslim countries, and were at the wrong place at the wrong time. For each, there was a network of children, parents, siblings, neighbours and community who depended on him.

Britain's involvement in the war in Iraq is no excuse for Muslim extremism.However, it would be wrong for the Government to deny that Muslim communities feel a sense of unease about our involvement in Iraq.
