I wouldn't do it again on this boat. It's too hard. Everything was damp, we had to wear our wet-weather gear to bed and even our food broke up. We had cup-of-soups and noodles floating around below.

I was just getting into the rhythm of the race when the transmission failed, possibly because of a rather hard crash the day before or a second one earlier that morning. The lever broke off and the clutch failed. I was having to jam the bike into gear when that also failed.

It means a lot. Those are two guys who obviously can be starting. Damp's been a starter and Stack's been a starter, so hopefully, we can get those guys matched up on some of the other team's second-team players. We like to go to Damp, and we went to him tonight _ and he delivered. He's been playing really hard.
